Only God knows why I’ve picked skateboarding. I’m no good at it. But, because I find it requires *so* much focus to not die (or, more realistically, break something), it wipes my mind clean of all other stressors. One of the most relaxing things I can do is something I feel I can’t...to set my focus on learning something new or improving where I am not strong. I was tasked with eating more food, gaining a few pounds, and documenting what I eat. . Challenge accepted. 👊🏼 . So I’ve been snapping a quick pic of everything I’ve eaten for the past week (except on my birthday). I’m not counting calories or measuring food. The pictures don’t even account for quantity (or water intake). I just eat what I want. . As a result of photographing everything, I’ve been making more thoughtful food choices. (Thoughtful does not necessarily mean healthy. 😉) The goal is to eat better, yes, but it’s also to eat more. Especially more, consistently. I’m terrible at eating/making time to eat on work days. . I’ve already seen some improvement in the past week...more energy, better sleep. I’m sure the list of benefits will continue to grow as I stick with it. . Who knew food was so important?! Oh, wait. I did. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway...this is what I ate today... . #121southmaple
